I’ve been spending money on Think Geek for my ICT Classrooms in the new term. We’ve got three; my own magnificent palatial shrine to ICT which is the size of two normal classrooms, our Media Center which is the same size and is also our library. Our final ICT Room is in the science department and is a snug and very traditionally laid out IT Room.
For my room, I’ve bought these and crafted this, I don’t think as levels go it’d be all that playable, and I don’t know what Lugi is doing but it looks rather funky;
For the Science ICT Room, we’ve gone with this and although I’ve not put them on the wall yet, it’ll look a little bit like this:
I’m not sure how they fit with current theories about making effective learning environments, but I think surrounding the children with 8bit decorations will make them be grateful for their 64bit 3D world.
